Edge

I took this photo a while ago in Sitges, a very small town about half an hour away from Barcelona. We were walking around, which besides eating, it’s pretty much everything we do when we go there, and I saw this man standing on the Edge of the rocks fishing on a very cold and windy day.

I love it there. I find it nice and peaceful. Which is very weird considering it’s a major turistic spot. But every time I’ve been there has been amazing. I think that’s because I always go in very good company.

We have plans to visit it again soon.

I love this necklace. It’s one of my favorites. Even though a lot of people owns the exactly same necklace, I think the symbols hanging from it could have a very special meaning for each person, so I’ve been wanting to photograph it for a long time :).

I just finished reading Ready Player Oner, by Ernest Cline. Let’s just say that my days are empty without Parzival, Aech and Art3mis. I had lots of fun reading this book and I highly recommend it.

So this challange came in a perfect moment for me to pay tribute to an excellent book and a great story.

(I also been wanting to photograph our Tetris lamp for a long time, this was the perfect excuse :D)

Weekly Photo Challenge: Summer Lovin’

 

Summer is music from the 80’s painted by a soft yellow light. Summer is going to the beach, to run with the waves and to build sand castles under the hot sun of the coast.

Summer is going to the pool to relax after jumping up and down all day in the sea, and going back to the house for a nice meal.

Summer is sitting on the dock watching the boats pass and the wind play with palm trees, as the sun sets and welcomes a fresh, starry night accompanied with long talks and laguhter echoed by the sound of water crashing the boats.

Summer is playing Nintendo until 3 am. and going to sleepd so happy and peaceful, that you will remember these feelings forever, no matter where you are.

That is Summer Lovin’ to me.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Room

I took this photo a couple of years ago when I came to Barcelona on a vacation trip with my family.

Is a cava celler. Freixenet’s cava celler. We went there to take a tour and learn about the process into the production of this delicious cava. It was a very cool experience.

 

I know it’s an old picture, but I’ve never shared it before, and I really, really like it. It’s a very literal contribution to this Weekly Photo Challenge but is the kind of room preserved in time that we don’t get to see every day.
