All-Time Favorites

I find myself surprinsily sad writing this post. I can’t believe the Weekly Photo Challenge is coming to an end. WPC helped me blog more, go out here and take new photos inspired on the week’s subject and, most of all, it helped me discover amazing blogs I surely wouldn’ have found out about any other way.

This was form the “Nostalgia” Weekly Photo Challenge and seems very appropiate to start this “All-Time Favorites” post

I regret the challenges I didn’t participate in. There were amazing subjects proposed every week and I had so much fun doing every single one of them. It feels weird to be so sad about this coming to an end (I’m almost tearing up here).

If you took part on any of these challenges, I hope you had as much fun as I did and I hope you continue to share your photos.

Here is a gallery of my favorite Weekly Photo Challenges.

Thank you so much, Weekly Photo Challenge.

Spring Everywhere!

I recently got the chance to work with a group of amazing, beautiful and very talented women: a jewelry maker, a pressional makeup artist and stylist and two amazing models. We did and incredibly beautiful photo shoot using srpingy-Barcelona as location and it coulnd’t have turned out more beautifully.

We went to a really nice park in the high part of the city and it was just the perfect set. There were trees and flowers everywhere! We did photos on different parts of the park to try and take it all in.

My purpose was to match the makeup of the models with the flowers in the park, to create contrasts and use that beautil spring, golden hour light. I did so many photos and was SO happy with most of them I ended up with more that 200 final images.

Hope you get spring vibes from this photos! And if you want to see a behind the scenes of it, you can check it out on this video I published on my Youtube Channel!

Windows

With the intent of trying new things during photo shoots, I tried shooting through Windows. It’s so much fun and makes the photo so much interesting. You can play with the reflections, contrasts and colors to create a different-looking image.

I did this shoot with my friend from A Plane Ticket a while ago and I’m thinkin it’s time to schedule a new one!

Roadtrip Nature Photography

It’s been a while since we went on a roadtrip.

Last weekend we went aways for a day and visited beautiful places that gave me the opportnity to practice nature and landscape photography. I took my time to snap each photo and then processed them using Lightroom.

I don’t know why, but every time we go on a roadtrip, the experience makes me feel more at home. The planning, getting the car, listeting to loud music while admiring the road sceneries, it feels right.

I also managed to do a short video for my new YouTube Channel. (Which I’m really excited about!)

I hope you feel at home too and have a beautiful week.

Shooting with A Plane Ticket in beautiful Barcelona!

A few weeks ago I did a photo shoot with my friend Vero from A Plane Ticket.

She is about to re-launch her YouTube Channel and we did some photos with that purpose. We went to a place in Barcelona near the museum of design and an emblematic building called Agbar Tower.

I’ve been wanting to do a shooting there for a long time now. It’s a great place with great views, nice backgrounds and natural light. Here are some shots:

I also did a short YouTube video for my channel  (you can suscribe here) where I show you a little behind the scenes of the photo shoot! Hope you enjoy:

I used my Canon EOS 70D with my 50mm, f1.8 lens and Adobe Lightroom to develop de photos.

Day 7: Not knowing!

So, vacations are over and so is one post a day challenge!

One of my favorite things about doing this challenge during a week of vacation is that I never know what my post is going to be about until the day is about to end. When I do this, I wait almost until before going to sleep so the post has relation with what I did that day.

That makes it a little bit more difficult, but is also more fun! I got to relax a lot this week. Sleep, stream, hang out with Mango and hubby… It was a perfect week.

Here’s a summary of my favorite photos from the challenge!
