Spring Everywhere!

I recently got the chance to work with a group of amazing, beautiful and very talented women: a jewelry maker, a pressional makeup artist and stylist and two amazing models. We did and incredibly beautiful photo shoot using srpingy-Barcelona as location and it coulnd’t have turned out more beautifully.

We went to a really nice park in the high part of the city and it was just the perfect set. There were trees and flowers everywhere! We did photos on different parts of the park to try and take it all in.

My purpose was to match the makeup of the models with the flowers in the park, to create contrasts and use that beautil spring, golden hour light. I did so many photos and was SO happy with most of them I ended up with more that 200 final images.

Hope you get spring vibes from this photos! And if you want to see a behind the scenes of it, you can check it out on this video I published on my Youtube Channel!

Windows

With the intent of trying new things during photo shoots, I tried shooting through Windows. It’s so much fun and makes the photo so much interesting. You can play with the reflections, contrasts and colors to create a different-looking image.

I did this shoot with my friend from A Plane Ticket a while ago and I’m thinkin it’s time to schedule a new one!

Shooting with A Plane Ticket in beautiful Barcelona!

A few weeks ago I did a photo shoot with my friend Vero from A Plane Ticket.

She is about to re-launch her YouTube Channel and we did some photos with that purpose. We went to a place in Barcelona near the museum of design and an emblematic building called Agbar Tower.

I’ve been wanting to do a shooting there for a long time now. It’s a great place with great views, nice backgrounds and natural light. Here are some shots:

I also did a short YouTube video for my channel  (you can suscribe here) where I show you a little behind the scenes of the photo shoot! Hope you enjoy:

I used my Canon EOS 70D with my 50mm, f1.8 lens and Adobe Lightroom to develop de photos.

Four months ago I shot a set for Suicide Girls with an awesome girl I’ve done photo shoots before! Her name is Giuchi.

Finally, the set is up for Members Review and we are super excited about it. We had a great time doing this photo shoot and we are happy our work is now out there. Here’s a sneak peek!

If you have a SG account, you can vote for her set to make to Set of the Day! I’m going to leave here Giuchi’s Instagram account because she is a lovely girl and I’m so grateful to work with her!

Keep creativity flowing!

I’m constantly looking for new projects. Whether my own, or friends projects I can get involved with, I’m always on the lookout! It’s a way to keep flowing creativity and enthusiasm for what I do.

Recently, a dear friend of mine asked me if I would like to do a photo shoot of a bralettes brand for her new project.

She just launched an online store called Vestier de Moda where she sells different clothing items from brands made by other entrepreneurs. We got together and did an amazing photo shoot.

For this shoot I had in mind a very soft look and feel from the start. I wanted to get a soft, white light in a homey/comfy environment so the photos could have a closeness feeling. That someone looking at them could feel related to the scenery.

We had a great location for the photos, which meant great natural light and a great model. It really is a cool project and I’m sure more photo shoots are on the way! We had a lot of fun doing this shoot and you can visit my friend’s Instagram for her project!

I used Lightroom to develop these. Just played a bit with light temperature, exposure and contrast.

A Ballerina in Barcelona

It was early on a autumn Saturday morning. People were slowly taking over the streets and there we were! With cameras, music and dance.

There was a woman singing opera in a corner near the cathedral and it was magical. The ballerina had her music to dance to and we (me and my friend Vero who is working on an awesome video of this) made absolutely beautiful shots.

It’s the first time I do a photoshoot like this one. At some point, there was a lot of people and a lot going on around us (tourists, people watching, getting in the wat of the shots). I had to be very careful to keep the focus of the images on the ballerina. It was very difficult and I’m not completely sure I succeeded.

However, it was a very magical morning. We got to experience Barcelona in a different way and even found some places we’ve never been to before. Here are some of my favourite shots.

I would like to do more photoshoots like this in the future. It’s a great experience to keep photographic skills on point! You have to be very fast and accurate with each clic to make sure to get the bests shots.
