A few months ago a dear friend who is a YouTuber (a very good one, by the way!) told me that a magazine wanted to interview her. She needed a few photos to send along with her answers and she asked me if I wanted to do a photo shoot with her.
Of course I said yes.
Yesterday the magazine came out!
This is my first published photo ever! I can’t even explain how excited I am. It’s called Tendencia, and it runs in Venezuela, Miami, Panama and Aruba. I just want to thank my friend, Vero for this.
In the world of photography, as in the world of many other arts and professions, it’s very difficult to get opportunities like this one.
Yes! That’s my name right there! Huhu, I’m so happy. You can read the complete interview in this link.
Also, it would be really cool if you visit my friend’s YouTube channel! It’s called A Plane Ticket and she makes these great videos talking about life as an immigrant. She gives tips, advices and talks about her personal experience.
We are also working together in a bunch of cool projects and I will be soon posting about those too!
Have a great weekend, everyone!
Last week I went out with a friend to do a shooting for a very cool indie video game company here in Barcelona called HyperBerry Games. They are about to launch their first title called Otem’s Defiance and they wanted a team that helped them develop their corporate image and marketing strategy. So I joined forces with my friend and started working!
Otem’s Defiance Concept Art
It’s the first time I participate in a project of this sort. Most of the photography I’ve done has been more personal. I’ve never done “corporate”photography. So, at first, I was a little scared, because I wasn’t very sure what angle would I take on this.
So, when I got there and saw the location, I decided to try and translate my usual style to these photos as well. I started looking around for interesting elements to incorporate in the shots, such as plants like the photo above and make each frame more interesting.
I focused on capturing specific elements that would show the work and personality of each member involved with the project.
We are still working together and very cool things are coming! You can check out the trailer of the game by clicking this link.

It takes determination to completely change your life.
It takes persistence to achieve your goals.
And you’ll only get there by caring for yourself and those you love.

“The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog.”
That’s what they said! So here it is. One more of photoblogging. Thank you to all who visited, commented and shared.
Here’s an excerpt:
A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 1,500 times in 2015. If it were a cable car, it would take about 25 trips to carry that many people.

Hello, everyone! it’s been a little while since I last posted, but I’ve been kind of busy lately. But a good kind of busy because I’ve been taking a lot of photos!
This is Ruth. We did a photoshoot in the lovely streets and beaches of Barcelona, Spain a couple of weeks ago. We decided we wanted the photos to have a urban look and feel. So we went to construction sites, did some shots there, strolled down big avenues and then finished at the beach!
Is the frist time I do a photoshoot like this one and I’m really happy with the results 🙂 She was a great model. We actually did another photoshoot yesterday and I can’t wait to show it to you :).
Meanwhile, here is a little gallery with some other images.
It’s been a looooong, long, looooong, time since I’ve photographed people. And finally, thanks to my new job I’m getting to do it in an almost daily basis now. So I’m very, very happy!!
And I would like to share with you some of my favorites so far. This is Violete.
We were going for kind of a pin-up style. But the photoshoot evolved on its own and we endend up doing all kinds of things.
And this last one, I think has a more fashion-photography look. And It’s one of my aboslute favorites!
She is a great model and I loved shooting her! Can’t wait for the next time!
